The GeoPush service gives you two options to create new engagements:
Specifying a category of geofences that you'd like to target
Target a single unique geofence to target
In this option, the customer selects one category of places of interest. In the below demonstration, we selected the category "gym" (note that the below screenshot shows 67 places in the map view within this category).
After select the set of places, it's time to configure the engagement. For this purpose the customer shall specify the logic to trigger and the notification content.
Here, the customer should specify in which conditions the notification will be displayed to final user. The options are:
Type of fence transition (mandatory): for which movement (enter / dwell / exit), sdk shall display the notification?
Type of user activity: for which activity (walking / running / still / tilting ...), sdk shall display the notification?
Part of the day: in which part of the day (morning / afternoon / evening / night), sdk shall display the notification?
Part of the week: in which day of the week (Sunday / Monday/ ...), sdk shall display the notification?
Duration: when sdk shall start/stop to show this notification to user?
Frequency: how is the frequency that sdk shall display this notification to user (once a day / once a week / once time)?
Here, the customer should specify the notification content:
Title: the notification title.
Message: the notification message content.
Icon: the notification icon.
Action link: the url link to be consumed by app after user clicked the notification.
Action text: the text to be consumed by app after user clicked the notification.
In this option, the customer refines the set until get the desired place of interest. From this point on, the procedure for creating the engagement is the same adopted for a set of places.
